Contains several nice restaurants geared towards the business lunch crowds downtown, but a few offer Saturday lunch hours as well. Of note, Greek Express and Odessa's Deli (a Polish shop) are tasty and affordable lunch options open Friday and Saturday for lunch. See the Arcade web site for phone numbers and hours.

Brasa Grill

1300 W. 9th

Not cheap, but really good, and if you go away hungry you're an idiot. The concept is to serve a wide variety of different cuts of beef, pork, lamb, chicken, etc., in succession, to each diner individually right at their table, thus there is not a traditional menu. The restaurant features a fixed-price continuous tableside service. In addition diners can choose from 40 different salads including sushi, seafood and pastas at their leisure from salad bar. Dinner 4pm to 11pm Sunday through Thursday and 4pm to midnight on Friday and Saturday - $35. Sunday brunch 10am to 2pm - $25

Discovered during NC3. Huge sandwiches. Handy for Friday's lunch but closes at 2:00 PM (2:30 PM for carryout). One of the better places for a good corned beef reuben in Cleveland.

1.3 mi

#1 Pho

3120 Superior Ave E

(216) 781-1176

Great little Vietnamese restaurant. Their pho passes the approval of real Vietnamese people. Also a great value, with many dishes around $6-7 each.

Food Fetchers

One of Cleveland's online restaurant delivery services, offering food from quite a few local and chain restaurants.

Deliver Me Food

Another of Cleveland's online restaurant delivery services, with a slightly different spectrum of restaurants (though there is some overlap).

Attractions

Amateur Electronic Supply

AES is one of the largest dealers of HamRadio gear in North America. Their "Cleveland" office is located at 28940 Euclid Avenue, Wickliffe, Ohio, about 20 minutes away by car. If you're a radio geek, you should check it out. Also, if you're stuck looking for a strange RF connector last minute, they likely stock it as well.

There was a group expedition to AES last year. I wouldn't be surprised if it happened again, so ask around if you're interested. At least one ham should be hanging out in the ConSuite pretty much the whole weekend. -- Bunsen

HGR Industrial Surplus

HGR is a huge warehouse of industrial equipment and neat stuff. They're only open Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, so if this interests you, schedule accordingly!

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

"Since its opening in 1995, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum has established itself as the preeminent home for the celebration and study of rock and roll music." It's located just around the corner from NOTACON, at 751 Erieside Avenue, essentially where East 9th Street meets the lake. Not that you'll have time for this sort of thing...

Great Lakes Theatre Festival

http://www.greatlakestheater.org will have two running productions during Notacon weekend. Catch either Anton Chekov's "The Seagull" or Willy Shakespeare's "Comedy of Errors". Hanna Theatre is right around the corner, within walking distance from Notacon. Check for tickets: http://www.greatlakestheater.org/tickets/

Big Fun

Very cool retro toy store about 6 miles East of the hotel at 1827 Coventry Rd.

Asia Food Company

Good sized Asian grocery. 3126 Saint Clair Avenue.

etc...
